Whiskey & Me

Whiskey & Me

I cannot express how I feel right now, a mix of emotions, sad but happy at the same time.

About two years ago, I lost my 11 years partner @i.am.whiskey. It felt like he took a piece of me with him forever. I was so lost, sad, and confused. I needed a morale boost and wanted to create a memorial piece in the honor of Whiskey boy. So a few months after, I contacted @steveschwarzer and asked him if He could help me make some steel from his chain and his remains to make a personal knife for myself.

I was so fortunate and honored that he accepted me and my idea with open arms, and we spent a few days together at his shop in Florida. We made a canister Damascus out of his chain. We even added some of his ashes into the canister and finished two billets. Such a mesmerizing, fascinating, and Emotional experience.
It was an honor and pleasure to be able to work on this project with the legend. Words cannot express how grateful I am for all his kindness and generosity. Thank you so much for being there for me.
